Guide to the Magic Forest (2024)

The idea of working on the project was the idea of caring for adults. My year 2024 started with four serious projects. I worked seven days a week for two months, and at the end of February, fatigue finally dulled my feelings, inspiration and ideas. I wanted to get into a time machine and turn the transmitter knob to childhood. Then one of the projects suggested the idea of how to slow down and cheer up for a while.The form for the realization of the idea was a reference book, in which the narrative is in the genre of a short modern fairy tale. In the rhythm of modern life, this is an opportunity to plunge into the world of fantasy and imagination. However, unlike traditional fairy tales, this project is designed for adults and offers them a new perspective on familiar things.The book is a series of collages that depict magical animals in various situations and environments. Each collage is accompanied by a story about a magical animal that tells about its life and character. In the magical characters, the viewer can recognize someone they know. All the collages were created by me, I tried to fill them with bright colors and unusual details, just like in childhood. This is my magic closet in Narnia, my little world, where you can occasionally escape and be filled with power.
